For Dr. Jennifer J. Williams, Canadian Women Physicians Day is an opportunity to highlight the strengths women physicians offer and understand our differential experience due to things like system design and bias. PRIME enrolment webinars
There will be two webinars on March 22, 2023 to help people navigate the user enrolment and site registration processes. OneSign® “Tap N Go” deploying at Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH)
On March 1, the IHealth devices team began installing OneSign® “Tap N Go” hardware and software on workstations at RJH. This work is scheduled to be complete March 31.

Toxic drugs continue to take lives of British Columbians
Preliminary reporting released by the BC Coroners Service shows that the toxic, unregulated drug supply claimed the lives of at least 211 British Columbians in January, with the total number of deaths surpassing 200 for the eighth time in the past 16 months.

Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night.

Clinical Governance: Building the foundation for new decision-making committees
As of Friday, March 3 people across Island Health can read and offer feedback about the Terms of Reference for regional and organizational-level committees that will be responsible for clinical governance in the future. Terms of Reference provide clear, well-defined descriptions of each group's membership criteria, roles, responsibilities and decision-making rights.
