About AMS Bridge
AMS Bridge at NRGH is seeking dedicated physicians for rounding shifts and evening on-call coverage, managing acute inpatient care for patients admitted through the emergency room awaiting admission to internal medicine or hospitalist services. Rounding on a varied caseload referred from internal medicine, hospitalist, and specialist services, you will have full autonomy over orders, daily management, and disposition planning, including discharges and hospitalist transfers. You'll work alongside a team of internal medicine disciplines and emergency physicians, closely allied with the internal medicine consultation service. By filling this critical coverage gap, our physicians directly drive demonstrated improvements in hospital census capacity and patient mortality. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for physicians looking to exercise full clinical scope in a high-demand, high-impact inpatient environment.
- FRCPC, CCFP-EM, or other specialty required.
- Travel and Accommodation funding available for urgent gaps.
- Flexible times available.
- $325 / HR Daytime.
- $350 / HR Evening (on-site).
- Guarantee minimum for on-call.
General Internal Medicine Coverage Opportunities
IF available, eligible travel support includes:
- Travel time honorarium (within BC):
- $250 - 2.5 hrs or less return trip
- $500 -2.5 hrs up to 4 hours return trip
- $1000 - 4 hrs to 10 hours return trip
- $1500 - greater than 10 hours
- Paid mileage from your location to the site at $0.73 km
- Meal allowance (while traveling)
