PRIME Physician Communications
All members of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC) will be asked to enroll in PRIME between April 1st, 2023 to August 15th, 2023. PRIME enrollment will improve the privacy and security of both patient and practitioner information in PharmaNet.
Clinical Trials at Island Health: Local opportunities that contribute to global results
The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is part of the Research department, and has been conducting clinical trials at Island Health for over 20 years. Island Health is looking to enroll cognitively unimpaired men to participate in the study at Royal Jubilee Hospital. You may be eligible if you are a male between 60-90 years old who has no perceived memory issues.

New Service: Interpreting Services for Virtual Visits!
Island Health has launched a new service, allowing you to schedule an interpreter for virtual visits. By accessing the PLS Portal, you can request a professional interpreter join a scheduled BC Virtual Visit or Zoom for Healthcare virtual visit with your patient.
