New Injectable Opioid Agonist Treatment (iOAT)
iOAT is an evidence-based treatment option for individuals diagnosed with moderate to severe OUD who inject opioids. The iOAT order set is designed to provide up-to-date ordering and practice guidance for the continuation of community initiated iOAT during acute care admissions.

Order Set Library Migration to New SharePoint Location
All staff who use or access Order Sets for any applicable non-CPOE activated site. All Island Health accounts will have access to the new Order Set Library as Visitors; There has been no change in permissions, and access does NOT need to be requested.

New Supplier for Island Heath’s Home Oxygen Program
Effective January 1, 2025, Island Health will change respiratory equipment suppliers for its Home Oxygen Program (HOP). Physicians and nurse practitioners who sign HOP applications must be aware of this change.
