New Gender-Affirming Relational Practice Online Course from Trans Care BC
Trans Care BC and Prince George Division of Family Practice co-developed a new e-learning course, Gender-Affirming Relational Practice (GARP). This free, two-hour course provides an overview of how health-care providers can combine clinical practice, relational practice, and gender-affirming care principles to improve access and care for trans, Two-Spirit, and non-binary (TTNB) clients.

Collaborative Emergency Response Transport (CERT) Team Supporting Rural Sites
The Collaborative Emergency Response Transport (CERT) team provides inter-facility transport of any patient that requires more than a BLS BCEHS scope of practice. This allows base site RNs to stay at the bedside, and does not empty our sites of RNs for transport.

Please be reminded there will be an EHR Planned Downtime on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from 0130 h Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to 0200 h Pacific Standard Time (PST). Total duration of the downtime is 1.5 hours. This is a required change to safely return to PST without impacts to the downstream systems.
