September 2023 issue of MHA INFOBITS
Topics include: MHA Online education module is available through The Learning Hub. It has recently been updated to reflect trauma-informed, culturally-safe and recovery-oriented practice approaches along with the changes made to the BC MHA medical certificates and the involuntary admission process. Over 1,500 Island Health staff, leaders and medical staff have completed the updated online module since April 2023.

VGH is hosting a 'Pink Picnic' Sepsis awareness event September 13th, 11-2 at the Oasis. There will be activities, information and give-aways to bring attention to the impacts of sepsis for all ages.

The First Nations Principles of OCAP® presentation will introduce participants to FNIGC, the First Nations principles of OCAP® and First Nations data sovereignty.
