Meeting with a client and their family within the first 48 hours of admission is critical in ensuring that the care team, the client and their family have the same understanding of the Estimated Date of Discharge (EDD).

Island Health and VicPD Launch Co-Response Team
Operating from 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week, this new team expands and increases the mental health response continuum, adding to the existing interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) teams, the Integrated Mobile Crisis Response Team (IMCRT) and the peer-led, non-police community-based Peer Assisted Care Teams (PACT).
