Recognize World Sepsis Day on September 13 with the Sepsis Photo Challenge
September 13th marked World Sepsis Day. Each year, 30,000 Canadians are hospitalized due to sepsis. More than 30% will die. At Island Health this amounts to over 1,000 patient admissions annually. In recognition of Sepsis Awareness Month, the Sepsis Quality Improvement Initiative team is launching.
