In Memoriam Dr. Sylvie Argouarch
We are profoundly saddened to announce the tragic passing of Dr. Sylvie Argouarch in Victoria, on August 2nd. She had been involved in a collision with a truck while cycling on July 28th.
Using Blood Wisely: the Island Health story 2025
On July 30, Health Quality BC announced the new Choosing Wisely provincial hub for BC. Island Health has already demonstrated a commitment to Choosing Wisely and has maintained designation as a Using Blood Wisely organization since May 2023.
