This onboarding checklist is designed to support contracted physicians and nurse practitioners in becoming practice-ready at Island Health owned and operated primary care sites. Please complete onboarding activities prior to your first day.
Throughout your onboarding journey, please direct questions that arise to the Site Manager and Medical Leader at your interview and site tour.
Contracted physicians and nurse practitioners who are new to BC, or to primary care practice, need to complete the Pre-Onboarding activities first. All others may begin their orientation with the Onboarding tasks.
