Island Health Primary Care Grand Rounds

Island Health hosts Grand Rounds to encourage new ways of thinking, introduce new or updated ideas, generate discussion, and in some cases debate around important health issues.  Grand Rounds is hosted by Dr. William Cunningham and Dr. Leah MacDonald of Island Health with communications support from Matthew Burbidge in the Department of Primary Care. 

The following rounds have been accredited for Mainpro+ certification.

BC Provincial Academic Detailing (PAD) Service

Date: Ongoing (earn up to 2.0 Mainpro+ credits in 30 minutes)

The PAD service is a form of CME in which a health professional, usually a pharmacist, meets with physicians one-one-one to discuss  selected drug therapy topics.  For more information and current topics please see the PAD Service website.
