Primary Care Physicians Needed for Research in Refugee Care | Extended up until April 30

The study is looking to determine the barriers and opportunities that family doctors face when delivering primary care to refugees in BC. Participation involves 10-15 minutes of your time to fill in a web-based questionnaire on Qualtrics. All responses are anonymous. Questionnaire closes on April 30, 2023.

Required Training for Staff and Physicians involved in Admitting & Treating Patients under the Mental Health Act

On January 31, 2024 crucial changes are coming to the forms used in British Columbia to involuntarily admit and treat patients under the Mental Health Act. To ensure patients’ rights are protected and the forms are completed correctly, all staff and physicians who are involved in regularly treating and caring for patients under the Mental Health Act have to complete an online training module before November 30, 2023.
