COVID-19 Vaccination and Young Adults in Island Health Region: Looking for Participants
The Vaccine Evaluation Center (VEC) at BC Children's Hospital and the University of British Columbia, in collaboration with researchers at Island Health, want to understand the perspectives and experiences of young adults regarding vaccination for COVID-19. The study is looking for young adults between the ages of 20-29 years living on Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands, or Discovery Islands. Participation is voluntary.
Residential Schools: An Apology and Supports Available
July 25th, during his first full-day in Canada, Pope Francis visited the Montana Cree First Nation in Alberta, where thousands of residential school survivors and their families gathered to witness and hear a long-awaited formal apology for the Catholic Church's role in the cultural genocide caused by Canada's residential school system.
