We are a group of five family physicians with three MOAs and a part-time billing clerk. We are located in downtown Campbell River, walking distance to the waterfront, many restaurants and cafes. Our building has been recently renovated and features large exam rooms, a conference room and a shared back office. We regularly support learners and the clinic is accustomed to working with new grads. This is a great place for new-to-practice physicians to get started!
Clinic hours are flexible but typically vary from 20-30/week with a mix of in-person and telehealth appointments. Option for telehealth to be undertaken from home if preferred. Scheduling can be suited to locums' preference as long as minimum manning of the office is met. In-patient coverage is required, weekend on-call participation would be appreciated (roughly 1 in 4 weekends). Option for participation in the local maternity clinic and call-roster if desired.

Campbell River offers a balanced lifestyle surrounded by nature. With the waters of Discovery Passage at our shoreline and majestic mountains as a backdrop, Campbell River is located at the 50th parallel on the east coast of northern Vancouver Island. We are the third largest city on the island, with a population of more than 37,500, and the urban service centre and hub community for approximately 60,000 people living and working in our region.
