The following has been sent on behalf of Kris Nielsen, Executive Director Workforce Strategy to all staff and medical staff at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital campus.
As part of our Health Human Resources Sustainability Initiative, the Workforce Strategy team is seeking to partner with child care providers to secure priority access to child care spaces for Island Health staff and medical staff throughout the island. I am pleased to share we have identified two available childcare spaces (one full-time and one part-time), starting in February, conveniently located near Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
We would like to first offer these spaces to Island Health staff and medical staff who work on the SPH campus. If you are in need of full-time or part-time child care for infants or toddlers, please contact us at WorkforceStrategy@islandhealth.ca.
While Workforce Strategy will help connect interested staff and medical staff with the provider, subsequent arrangements will be directly between the child care provider and the parent/guardian, who will be responsible for regular child care fees.
