A New Island Health Intranet is Coming November 4, 2026.
In just five weeks, Island Health staff will begin using WorkHub, our new intranet.
What You Told Us
Thank you to everyone who completed the WorkHub survey. You shared 3 clear priorities for the new intranet:
- Quick access to the information you need to do your job, including policies, procedures, forms, schedules, and pay information.
- Information you can trust. Many staff said it can be difficult to know whether information is current, especially when there are duplicate or outdated versions.
- Finding information needs to be easier. Search and navigation were among the biggest frustrations identified in the survey.

November 4 is just the beginning.
When WorkHub launches, most information will stay the same. Staff will see a new homepage, a new and improved search experience, and a mobile-friendly design that works across phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
After launch, we will work with programs and staff across Island Health to improve content, understand user needs, and build a more useful, reliable, and user-friendly intranet.
Over time, WorkHub will make it easier to:
- Find the information and services you need
- Access your tools and resources quickly
- Trust that information is current and reliable
