Nurse Practitioner PCN (100-2810)

Reference Number
100-2810

The Shoreline Medical Society is seeking a nurse practitioner to work with a team of practitioners, and other health providers, to collectively deliver care to patients at the Sidney clinic on the Saanich Peninsula. In these clinical service contract positions the providers will work collaboratively with an inter-disciplinary health care team to provide culturally safe primary care. In addition to general care we have opportunities in maternity and palliative.

Acting as the most responsible primary care provider, there is a requirement for the provider to establish a minimum patient panel. Additional after hours’ care for patients is applicable and on call for the clinic is on a rotation and is for one week at a time.  During that week the provider would be responsible for the after hours call line for Shoreline Medical Sidney call line.

We are a warm and collegial group of family physicians, locums, administrative staff, students, residents, a physiatrist, RNs, clinical pharmacists, social workers and mental health clinicians. We are fully integrated into the Saanich Peninsula PCN. Management of our clinics is provided by Shoreline Medical Society, a non-profit organization that partners with interdisciplinary health care providers and the community to deliver:  patient-centred care, hospital/community continuity of care, education and a healthy life-work balance for our team.
