Shelbourne Family Practice and Maternity is seeking a Family Physician to join our Family Practice. We are currently a group clinic of 6 Family Physicians. The new Family Physician would be taking over half of two established Family Practice panels, from two retiring Physicians, to create a full-time full-scope longitudinal family practice panel. Maternity care can be incorporated into the new Physicians panel if desired. This team-based practice has the assistance of a Registered Nurse who works full-time in the clinic and has Family Practice Network mental health and social work consultant support.
This practice uses the interoperable, and easy-to-learn Intrahealth Profile EMR with patient on-line booking, direct in-out faxing, emailing and SMS text messaging, digital reception of lab and hospital reports, direct connection to Pharmacare e-forms and CareConnect. There is a great team of 5 role-based MOAs, with 1 MOA who has extensive experience designated for the incoming new physician. The clinic is situated in the Lansdowne Professional Medical/Dental Building with 8 exam rooms, 6 private physician offices, wired computer workstations and printers in every exam room, a minor-surgical room with on-site instrument sterilization, vaccine storage, lunchroom and private staff bathroom. The building includes a laboratory, medical imaging and a pharmacy.
