Sea Point Medical Clinic is expanding, and we’re looking for forward-thinking Family Physicians to join our collaborative, wellness-oriented team as we prepare to open our brand new, custom-designed clinic in Lantzville. 

We are currently operating from a temporary location while our new clinic, part of the newly constructed Coastline Station (7181 Lantzville Rd) is completed. Come Fall 2026, Sea Point will occupy the ground floor alongside Central Drugs Pharmacy and DRIP Coffee.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing, Physician-championed clinic from the ground up, while leaning into your own interests, subspecialties, and preferred style of practice.

About the New Sea Point Clinic

Sea Point Medical Clinic is a new family medicine clinic designed for modern practice. Thoughtfully planned exam rooms, collaborative physician spaces, and flexible workstations create an efficient environment that supports a variety of physician practice styles. The clinic will be newly built and professionally designed by a local Interior Design group (Studio AE) in a calming coastal style.

Family Practice Area
• Physician-led ownership and management
• No buy-in for new associate Physicians
• Eight exam rooms + procedure room + nursing station
• A bright, comfortable shared physician workroom designed to promote connection, collaboration, and a supportive team dynamic
• Dedicated staff amenities including a physician shower and on-site laundry
• A strong cross-coverage culture to support sustainable schedules and work-life balance
• Current staff: one FTE MOA and two PT MOAs, with planned growth
• On-site Orthotist and Aesthetics Nurse, with plans to incorporate a full complement of Allied Health providers (e.g. registered nurse, clinical pharmacist, social worker, mental health counsellor, etc.)

Studio / Gym Space
A highly flexible, multi-purpose studio intended for:
• Sports Medicine services
• Future Physiotherapy
• Community classes (seniors chair yoga, mobility sessions, patient education sessions, etc.)
• Parent and Baby groups
• Group medical visits, prenatal classes, and other clinic-led programs
• Rentable use for community wellness programming

Medical Aesthetics Space
A spa-inspired area dedicated to Lumina MD Medical Aesthetics.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking collegial, community-minded Family Physicians who value:
• A team-based model (will grow with time)
• Long-term practice stability
• Collaborative care, cross-coverage, and shared responsibility
• Building their own patient panel (no inherited panel)

The Nanaimo Division of Family Practice will support your panel development. There is no shortage of patients seeking primary care in the region.

Compensation and Structure
• Overhead is expected to be a fixed monthly rate (final rate forthcoming)
• Flexible scheduling: Part-time, Full-time, and Locum Physicians welcome
• EMR TBD
• Payment Model: most physicians using LFP, FFS also an option if that is preferred
• International Medical Graduates are welcome to apply
• Applicants must be Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
• Desired Start Date: October 2026
