Foundry is a province-wide network of integrated health and social service centres for young people ages 12-24. Foundry Centres provide young people access to mental health care, substance use services, primary care, social services and youth and family peer supports. We are actively looking to fill a vacant fulltime position which may be shared by multiple FPs
Physician services at the centre will include providing full-scope primary care within an interdisciplinary integrated team by providing the following activities:

Sexual Health
-
Mental Health
-
Substance use services
-
Harm reduction
-
Gender affirming care
-
And other areas related to centre needs.
The Foundry family physicians work collaboratively, with each other, and allied health professionals to provide primary care, including same day appointments, when possible, for patients accessing care at Foundry. To support collaborative care for youth seeking services at Foundry Campbell River, allied health providers may consult with Foundry physicians for advice and patient care management on a regular basis.
The Foundry family physicians work collaboratively to ensure care is provided with care provided within the centres’ normal operating hours excluding statutory holidays, or as otherwise determined in collaboration with Foundry Campbell River leadership.
The Physicians will provide services via face to face appointments, telephone consultations and virtual care options where available and as appropriate based on the clinical circumstances
Benefits
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 6.09%
- Annual Flat Fee: $9,437.76
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
