The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Department of Medical Imaging in Nanaimo is seeking a General Radiologist with Nuclear Medicine specialty.
Opportunity to practice both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology, including, PET/CT, US, CT, MRI, General Radiology and other areas of interest.
The group provides Nuclear Medicine imaging services to the mid and North Vancouver Island.
Preference will be given to candidates holding either subspecialty training, or significant clinical experience. We will consider a variety of specialty interests/training. Experience with breast imaging, including screening, would be an asset. The work includes all facets of Medical Imaging and applicants must be comfortable with minor interventional procedures.
Candidates must eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in both Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.
