The successful applicant will assume the 1050 patient panel in a full time longitudinal family medicine role. The role is a blend of in-person (3 days per week) and virtual care from home (2 days per week). The panel is 75% female, so the applicant will be able to provide trauma-informed, patient-centered primary care. Women's health, mental health, pediatrics, senior care, and chronic disease management are required skills for this position.
We have the equipment for minor surgical procedures such as biopsies and excisions. The physician will have access to one large examination room for all in person care, with occasional use of a second exam room. Teaching is encouraged but optional.
We utilize the After Hours Call Program for evening and weekend call coverage, and are usually able to find locums either through our network or the Urban Locum program. We are supported in our clinic by two excellent PCN funded social workers, one is mental health/substance use focused, and the other is for financial supports. We are also able to access a PCN funded, experienced clinical pharmacist for challenging cases. The clinic staff are experienced and contribute to our excellent patient care team.
Our Facebook page is Doctors Keeler, Young, McLurg and Miller Family Practice, where we share evidence based patient education resources. We have online booking and use the Oscar EMR and AI scribes which includes a one-way patient emailing from the EMR.
