Community Family Practice clinic looking for a Primary care family physician with the expectation to also work in local the hospital taking ER shifts and in-patient care as well as long-term care facility work.

Clinic services all ages and demographics with a large percentage of First-Nations patients. Our clinic focuses on preventative care, self-help/education and holds weekly to 2 weekly workshops with patients and group visits. Our team of allied health professionals include physiotherapy, footcare, chiropractor, massage therapy and orthotics. We consider addiction medicine to be high priority.

Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm

Benefits:

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:

  • Recruitment Incentive: $20,000 (full-time)
  • Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
  • Fee Premium: 22.26%
  • Annual Flat Fee: $34,496.64
  • Rural CME: starting at $1,320/annum 2 years or less in the community, increasing to $3,520/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $5,720/annum after 4 years.
  • Rural GP Locum Program provides $1,559/day to locum physician with 43 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician.

Port Hardy is a district municipality in British Columbia, Canada located on the north-east tip of Vancouver Island.[5] Port Hardy has a population of 3,902 as of the 2021 census.
