Multiple full-time, part-time or practice share opportunities exist.

The Port McNeill and District Hospital, a 10-bed acute care facility, provides emergency, hospice and palliative care, diagnostic imaging/radiology, laboratory services, mental health and low-risk obstetrical services.

There is a requirement to provide on-call ER coverage at Port McNeill & District Hospital, on average 6-8 24 hour on-call shifts per month. Experience in rural family medicine and a willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team-based, collaborative practice is an asset

•Rural CME: starting at $3,520/annum in year 3 & 4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $5,720/annum after 4 years.

Rural GP Locum Program provides $900/day to locum physician with 43 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician.
