The Medical Staff Recognition Program aims to recognize medical staff service milestones at 5 years of service, and in 5-year increments thereafter. This year, 403 medical staff across Island Health are reaching important service milestones—with one medical staff member celebrating a remarkable 50 years of service! We warmly recognize and thank all our milestone recipients for their outstanding contributions to our patients and communities.
In-person events to celebrate service milestones will occur between September and October in Parksville, Victoria, Port Hardy and Courtenay. Recipient invitees have been contacted individually. For questions about the Recognition Program please email MedStaffRecognition@islandhealth.ca
