Seeking medical staff input to improve on Cactus software for appointments and renewals

Posted on: June 9, 2023

The BC Medical Quality Initiative (BC MQI) is working with Be the Change Group, a population and public health firm, to carry out an engagement project with users of the provincial credentialing and privileging system (C&P), Cactus. The goal is to understand how well Cactus is meeting the needs of its users and to identify what might be improved or added in the transition to a new C&P platform.

Via roundtable sessions, we hope to engage medical staff who submit appointment or renewal applications through Cactus. To acknowledge their time spent on this consultation, roundtable participants will be offered a $75 honorarium for a 1.5 hour roundtable session.

If you are interested in participating in a roundtable session, please provide your information using the following link, and we will be in touch to schedule the session:

Alternatively, if medical staff (physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives, and dentists) would like to provide feedback through a survey, you are invited to complete the survey here:

For survey participants, there will be the opportunity to enter a draw for a $400 gift card.
