How to Participate
- Wear Orange and Reflect: Staff, medical staff, and volunteers are invited to wear orange shirts and submit a photo and personal reflection. Each submission enters a draw for a Victoria Orange Shirt and a framed Indigenous art print.
- Learn and Engage: Explore Island Health’s educational resources, attend virtual events, and participate in community activities to deepen your understanding of Indigenous history and cultural safety.
- Promote Allyship: Take the time to reflect on what active allyship means and how you can support Indigenous colleagues and communities. Complete the “Working Together As One” learning module to address Indigenous-specific racism and discrimination.
