Essential Conversations: In-Person Training for NRGH, VGH & RJH

Seats are still available for Part 2 of the in-person Essential Conversations training. This training is for acute care clinicians at NRGH, VGH and RJH. 

The Essential Conversations course gives health care clinicians the skills and confidence to have challenging conversations using patient centered and trauma informed approaches.

Part 1 - Online

Essential Conversations Part 1 is the online component and is recommended for all Island Health staff working with clients, patients and residents. Register on LearningHub here.

Part 2 - In-Person

Essential Conversations Part 2 focuses on the practical application of skills, including strategies and approaches to navigate challenging situations and communications with patients and families.​​ This is only available to NRGH, RJH and VGH acute care staff at this time. ​Register on LearningHub here.
