Do you want to get more involved in making our healthcare system environmentally sustainable?
Island Health's first-ever Climate Change & Planetary Health Conference is taking place on Thursday, September 26 at the Vancouver Island Convention Center in Nanaimo. This is a single-day, in-person conference and is open to all Island Health staff and medical staff.
Attendees can expect to learn about Island Health's climate change and environmental sustainability efforts, connect with sustainability advocates and change makers from across the Island, and be empowered to make positive change, no matter their role.

- Educate: Develop a deeper understanding of our collective work in combating climate change and restoring planetary health
- Inspire: Showcase impactful sustainability projects from different departments and clinical staff
- Connect: Bring together change makers from across Island Health to build momentum and community
- Act: Encourage positive environmental actions across a wide range of roles and functions within Island Health
