Every day, allied health professionals make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, clients, families and communities across Island Health. On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, we invite you to join us in celebrating Allied Health Professionals Day by recognizing the expertise, dedication and impact of this exceptional workforce.
This year, we are excited to offer opportunities to celebrate allied health professionals through virtual and in-person pop-up celebrations in acute care centres across Island Health.
Allied Health staff from care areas outside of the acute facility (such as Community Health Services, Primary Care, Mental Health and Substance Use, Addiction Medicine and Substance Use etc.) are encouraged to join!
