It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of Dr. Dean Kolodziejczyk from his role as the Medical Director of Contracts and Compensation, effective October 31, 2024. We are immensely grateful for his exceptional contributions during his tenure.
Dr. Kolodziejczyk has been instrumental in developing service models and compensation modalities across the island, working collaboratively with many groups to ensure sustainable and effective care delivery. His efforts have been especially impactful within the realm of internal medicine, where he has played a significant role in stabilizing inpatient care across our health authority.
In addition, Dr. Kolodziejczyk has served as an outstanding Chair of the MOCAP Review Committee, implementing much-needed processes that have improved the committee’s work and efficiency.
We are fortunate that Dr. Kolodziejczyk has offered to provide mentorship and support during the transition period and is willing to guide anyone interested in taking on this role. The position of Medical Director of Contracts and Compensation will be posted shortly, and we encourage those interested to apply.
