The Ambulance Paramedics and Ambulance Dispatchers Bargaining Association (APADBA) announced on January 27, 202 that an official strike vote will be taken February 2 - 15, 2026.
The Health Employers’ Association of BC (HEABC) negotiates collective agreements with the bargaining associations on behalf of all provincial health authorities.
APADBA represents approximately 5,000 paramedics and ambulance dispatchers in B.C. Paramedics and ambulance dispatchers are employees of BC Emergency Health Services, which is part of Provincial Health Services Authority.
