- The BC Centre on Substance (BCCSU) operates an Addiction Medicine Clinician Support Line. Primary care providers can connect with an Addiction Medicine Specialist 24/7, 365 days a year. Access expertise in addiction medicine (including emergency, acute, and community care). Consultation can include support in screening, assessment, treatment, and management of substance use and substance use disorders. Call 778-945-7619.
- Rapid Access to Consultative Expertise (RACE) operates a call-back service for primary care providers. Using the RACEapp+, medical staff can generate a request to receive local specialist addiction medicine advice within two hours. Service available Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays), 8am to 5pm.
