These sessional contracts are an opportunity to work along the Malahat Health team (Health Director, MOA, interdisciplinary team) to provide access to episodic primary care. The sessions are for 3 hour blocks that ideally can be booked on a regular basis. Scheduling can be discussed with the Health Director.
Malahat Health has a holistic approach and considers the cultural and traditional values of the community. The Nation has a young population with the average age at 23. Malahat Health believes in providing a comprehensive range of health services tailored to meet the unique needs of our community, including primary care, chronic disease management, mental health supports, drug and alcohol counseling and specialized programs like the Children’s Oral Health Initiative.

Benefits:
May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 4.20%
- Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
