The Colwood Family Practice is seeking a Family Practitioner. The Family  Practitioner is a Primary Care Provider providing care with a general focus on longitudinal care. The co-located clinic is located inside the Colwood Family Practice clinic. This clinic is owned and operated by a local non-for-profit, the Westshore Primary Care Society.
 
The Family Practitioner initiates treatment including but not limited to health care management and therapeutic interventions, and prescribes medications in accordance with the statutory and regulatory standards, limits, conditions, policies and guidelines.  
 
The Family Practitioner will collaborate closely with the Medical Office Assistants and Clinic Manager. 
 
The Family Practitioner practices autonomously and interdependently within the context of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, making referrals to specialists and specialty clinics as appropriate.
