The IHealth World Café is coming to Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH) on Wednesday, December 13. This is an opportunity to learn about key regional changes to practice
that improve the patient journey and provider experience. With the Go-Live for electronic orders (CPOE) coming to South Island Tertiary sites in spring 2024, NRGH medical staff will find information on new and improved electronic workflows as well as new and updated practice standards.
Visit five themed “stations” and meet with subject matter experts from Professional Practice, Medication Safety, Clinical Informatics, Provider Education and Experience (ProEX) and the IHealth team.
Of particular interest is the Provider Experience station:
An opportunity to thank NRGH colleagues for "paying it forward", particularly in anticipation of the roll-out of CPOE in the South Island. As well, preview changes coming soon to Nanaimo, including improvements in the Discharge Process, and the first activation of Controlled Prescription Printing.
The event is co-hosted by the IHealth team and site leadership.
