10 reasons to attend the IHealth World Café:

1. If you are a little (or a lot) anxious about the upcoming IHealth activation at VGH, RJH , GRH and SISC in early 2024, you are likely to feel better after learning more about what's to come.

2. Chat with dedicated and truly “invested-in-your success" colleagues who will be there to support you through the IHealth activation at your site.

3. A hands-on demo of medication bar code scanning will show you how a closed-loop medication system looks in action, and how it can improve patient safety.

4. The event runs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at both sites, giving you a good range of hours to drop in.

5. If you only have 10 or 15 minutes to drop by, there are helpful handouts and a drop box for feedback or questions that can be answered after the event.

6. Find out about changes to practice that are wise to make now, before the transition to electronic ordering (CPOE).

7. If you're a member of the medical staff, there's a station specific to learning and engagement for you and your medical staff colleagues in the lead-up to CPOE.

8. Learn more about how IHealth activations – and your role in them -- support some of Island Health's highest priority strategic objectives.

9. When you complete your World Café passport with stamps from all six booths, you'll be entered for draw prizes.

10. AND, when you submit your passport, you'll be among the tally for your site in a friendly competition between VGH and RJH for highest attendance, with a Pizza Day for the winning site as the prize!

11. A bonus reason to attend: Early Halloween treats. Yum!
