PRIME Enrollment for Physicians – Enrollment Completion due for August 15th, 2023
Island Health would like to remind all Physicians that they must enroll in PRIME before August 15th, 2023 to ensure uninterrupted access to PharmaNet. This is a follow up to the March 15th, 2023 PRIME memorandum.

Phone consultations – supporting patients with limited english proficiency
If you are speaking with a patient who has limited English proficiency, a professional interpreter should be included to support clear communication, ensuring quality care and patient safety. Virtual Care Services, in partnership with Provincial Language Services (PLS), provides access to professional, medically trained interpreters in over 240 languages.
