New guidance on Mental Health Act and youth care
The BC Government has released new guidance on applying the Mental Health Act for treating youth under 19 experiencing severe mental-health and substance-use challenges. We recognize there is significant interest in this guidance and how it should be interpreted and applied across the province for youth presenting with severe substance use disorders.
