Ministry of Health Announces New Mental Health Act Forms to Support Independent Rights Advice Service
The Ministry of Health has confirmed updates to British Columbia’s Mental Health Act forms, aimed at strengthening patient rights and supporting the recently launched Independent Rights Advice Service (IRAS). These changes will take effect December 3, 2025, following the formal enactment of legislation that was recently accepted to embed IRAS into provincial law.
