We invite you to join us in recognizing Sepsis Awareness Month this September by participating in the Great Island Health Sepsis Challenge. This short online quiz will test your knowledge of sepsis - a life threatening organ dysfunction caused by the body's response to an infection.

There is also still time to participate in our Sepsis Photo Challenge to help spread awareness of Sepsis! You can participate by taking a photo with one of our photo boards or by creating your own, posing for a picture by yourself or with your colleagues, and emailing your photo to TheWeekly@islandhealth.ca with the subject line 'Sepsis Photo Challenge'. Be creative and show your support for Sepsis Awareness month.
