Historically, Transport have provided a limited passenger service between RJH and VGH, as part of the regular freight shuttle run. During the pandemic, this passenger element was suspended for a variety of reasons.
With the return to some normality, we are now in a position to reintroduce a passenger service, effective Tuesday February 21st. This will be a pilot project to determine what the level of demand is, and the service may be reassessed later in the year once ridership becomes clearer.
Passenger space is limited, as this route is primarily to support freight and lab transport. Space is on a first-come, first-served basis. Consequently, return trips cannot be guaranteed.
