Strategies to Optimize the Clinical Nurse Specialist Workforce in BC & Island Health Please join us in welcoming Dr. Sandra Lauck (Associate Professor, UBC School of Nursing and a UBC Knowledge Exchange & Mobilization Scholar, holding the St. Paul's Hospital Professorship in Cardiovascular Nursing at UBC and joint appointment as Clinician Scientist at St. Paul's Hospital and Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist Lead at Providence Health Care) and Dr. Leah Lambert (Executive Director and Senior Scientist of Nursing & Allied Health Research & Knowledge Translation at BC Cancer, with a cross appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the UBC School of Nursing). As Co-Principal Investigators, they will address the Policy Recommendations for Optimizing the Clinical Nurse Specialist Workforce in British Columbia Summary of Research Findings (January 2025) as Island Health embarks on maximizing the CNS role within integrated healthcare and governance systems. |

- Nurses must bring their work ID badges with them
- May 11 (11:30 - 15:00): cake, beverages, & giveaways
- May 12 (11:30 - 15:00): lunch by Quality Foods & giveaways
- May 12 (21:00 - 23:00): pizza & giveaways
- May 13 (11:30 - 15:00): cinnamon buns, ice cream, & giveaways
Royal Jubilee Hospital:
