Island Health is excited to announce that on Thursday, September 1, 2022, we will transition to a new Employee and Family Assistance Program provider, LifeWorks.
LifeWorks is a confidential and innovative well-being solution for all Island Health employees and their families/dependents that you can trust. LifeWorks provides a wide range of supports and resources for people, when and how they need it, considering all aspects of well-being – mental, financial, social and physical.
LifeWorks will be available 24/7, 365 days a year. With your LifeWorks account, you can:
- Access a wealth of online resources and information to support your mental, physical, social and financial wellbeing
- Get expert guidance from professional advisors, any time, about any issue, either work-related or in your personal life
- Speak to a counsellor if you have a problem that's bigger than you, or connect with other specialists including financial and legal professionals
- Invite family members to access certain features for confidential help and advice on hundreds of topics
On Thursday, September 1st, you'll receive an invitation from LifeWorks to create an account and get started using their services and resources. Keep an eye on your inbox for the invitation containing your unique link, then follow the steps in the email to sign-up.
Information sessions to answer your questions have been set up in the Learning Hub, and registration is now open. (Search Lifeworks to find the sessions, running Sept 6-9.)
