Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) has launched upgraded toolkit pages for Measles and Viral Respiratory Illnesses (VRI) to better support healthcare workers in accessing timely, relevant resources for infection prevention and response. These refreshed pages reflect current best practices and are designed to improve usability across care settings. The goal is to enhance clarity, streamline access to critical tools, and support safe, consistent care.

Why the Change?

The upgraded toolkit pages were designed to improve:

  • Access to updated clinical guidance and protocols
  • Consistency across IPAC resources
  • Support for point-of-care decision-making
  • Navigation and ease of use

What's New?

  • Updated content aligned with the latest evidence and provincial guidance
  • Simplified layout for faster access to key documents
  • Clearer organization of signage, forms, and reference tools

Do I Need to Update My Materials?

No immediate action is required. You may continue using existing materials. However, we encourage staff to begin using the updated toolkits for new downloads and reference, to ensure alignment with current standards.

Where Can I Find the Updated Toolkits?

Why This Matters

Having quick access to clear, standardized resources is essential for effective infection prevention. These upgrades help ensure that all staff, from clinical teams to support services have the tools they need to respond confidently and consistently.
