On behalf of the IHealth team and Dr. Bob Anderson, we are very pleased to announce that Dr. Ryan Gallagher will be joining the team in the role of IHealth Site Physician Lead for Cowichan District Hospital (CDH). Dr. Gallagher has worked as a Family Practice physician since 2013, including short and long-term locums in Duncan for a variety of colleagues. He is also a regular member of the Cowichan Maternity Clinic where he provides outpatient and inpatient maternity care.
Dr. Gallagher is looking forward to helping his community in the changes that will come with IHealth. He is excited to work with his colleagues at CDH improving systems iteratively so that our teams can benefit as much as possible from the implementation of IHealth. In the past, he led his clinic through the a significant Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation change and worked as a Physician Lead for Medication Reconciliation and electronic Best Possible Medication History at the CDH.
