Everyone who has a role in the patient journey and an interest in quality improvement is welcome to be part of Island Health's Clinical Governance team.
The full team is comprised of aligned committees that are responsible for evaluating challenges and opportunities to protect and improve the quality of patient care. Supported by experts in fields like data analysis, clinical policy and education, committees evaluate care quality challenges, identify the most appropriate solutions and plan how to successfully implement changes at point-of-care.
Committees are extremely diverse, with members from a wide range of disciplines and communities. Previous clinical governance experience is not required—training and support is provided. Roles regularly become available in areas ranging from broad, Island-wide programs to local sites and services.
Recruitment is ongoing. To inquire about current membership opportunities, or to be considered for future vacancies, please email CGII@islandhealth.ca.
