Interest in applying Generative AI (Gen AI) tools such as ChatGPT at Island Health is rapidly growing. These tools have a lot of potential to drive value by supporting efficiencies and automating various administrative and clinical tasks. Despite the promise, these are emerging innovations and discretion must be exercised.
Here we share our interim guidance on appropriate use while we work on our longer-term strategy and policies – and call for participants to help inform our strategy.
