Position available for a physician at well established full-service family practice that has been in Nanaimo for over 40 years. Extremely flexible hours and days - may work as much or as little as you like, with no walk-in, weekend, or after hours required. No on-call duties.

Currently 8 physicians in practice, most of whom practice part-time in clinic and part-time in other interests (ER, urgent care, maternity, youth clinic etc). We are a mix of experienced (>25 years working) and new (<5 years working) physicians, and are an extremely collegial and supportive group. Common doctor’s area in clinic - good for reviewing cases, socializing etc. 2-3 exam rooms available per doctor during the day. May choose days/times to work. 
Very experienced and supportive staff of MOAs and LPNs. We also have clinical pharmacy once per week, and MHSU counsellor twice per week exclusively for our patients to see.

May choose to start own panel of patients, or work from existing panel within the clinic, as we often share the care of patients, and have 2 physicians that are gradually cutting down their practices.  Overall this is a highly flexible opportunity in a well supported clinic!
