Island Health’s Division of Neurology has two opportunities for Neurologists to join a group of 11 based in Victoria. Expectation of the successful candidate(s) will include a hospital-based inpatient general neurology practice, including full participation in the on-call schedule, and establishing an independent office practice. We are seeking candidates with a stroke sub-specialty preferred.  Additionally, we are accepting applications from other sub-specialty areas that will bring new skills to our community.

Victoria is an acute stroke referral centre. We have access to full intensive care, neurosurgical and radiology specialties. Our program offers sub-specialty care in stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, neuro-muscular and neuro-behavioral disorders. We work closely as a collaborative group and are seeking engaged team players.
