- Where did you complete medical school and residency?
Medical school at the University of Alberta, diagnostic radiology residency at Dalhousie, MSK and palliative interventions fellowship at UBC.
- Why did you choose your field of specialty?
I enjoy the broad relevance of imaging to all specialties, and solving diagnostic puzzles.
- What is most meaningful to you about practicing medicine?
Medicine is a window into the human experience at all stages of life.
- What are your professional interests and notable achievements?
I have an interest in image guided palliative and therapeutic interventions including cryoablation. I am expanding the role of dual energy CT on the island.
- What are your hopes for the future of healthcare?
I hope for new breakthroughs in screening that will revolutionize preventive medicine.
- What hobbies or activities do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Spending time with my family, skiing, surfing, kiteboarding, mountain biking, astrophotography.
